Sep 4, 2021 · asub09. My key fob distance when locking the car seems to have really dropped recently. I changed the battery (twice) without any improvement. I also tried my other key fob, and it performs the same (must be just a few feet from the car to lock). The unlock distance seems to be a bit better than the lock distance, but I'm still trying to verify.
Sep 21, 2023 · Another Update! This time I could not get into the car. There was no way it was letting me in via the remote fob, so had to break out the mechanical key, then open it, then the alarm goes off, not until I get the fob into the center consul can I do an ignition cycle, and reset.
Feb 17, 2020 · A new fob will cost around $250, the hard key is just under $200, and the programming is around $150. The keys advertised on Ebay are locked out, meaning they are programmed to another Giulia. They can be unlocked by the dealer if they happen to have the car, which of course they don't.
Sep 7, 2019 · AlfaRomeoCares. Last night (at 3am!!!) the alarm on my ‘19 Giulia Ti Sport went off and I could not turn it off by unlocking the car with the fob. I also tried hitting the panic button but that didn’t do anything. I then unlocked the car and started the engine but that didn’t help.
